RE-ACT – REgenerative Actives: Recombinant Proteins as Bioactives for Alopecia and Functional Trichological Cosmeceuticals”

The RE-ACT project aims to develop a novel biotechnological ingredient for the dermocosmetic sector, produced through plant-based expression technologies and characterized by regenerative activity for both skin and hair. The objective is to provide an innovative active ingredient that is more effective and sustainable than current solutions, capable of counteracting skin fragility, stimulating hair growth, and supporting long-term skin health.

RE-ACT originates from the growing need for truly effective solutions for conditions such as hair loss, which can significantly impact individuals’ psychological and social well-being. The project therefore seeks to translate biotechnological research outcomes into advanced dermocosmetic applications, facilitating access to innovative, safe, and sustainable products.
